Luxury Bell Tents in Canvas
Pukka Tents came about because we were inspired to produce a high spec lifestyle product which would satisfy your requirements. We believe the result is superior to many other canvas bell tents available online. Like-minded people who want to make the very best of their leisure time outdoors are sure to agree.
Built along traditional lines using high quality breathable cotton canvas, our products also make use of modern materials and clever design features to produce a superior result.
Fitted as standard/our tents feature:
Steel push-click fit poles.
YKK zips.
Storm flaps over all zips including windows.
Durable anti UV-treated nylon ropes.
We use 320gram cotton canvas which a bit more substantial than the lighter canvas used by many tent suppliers but not as unwieldy as some of the heaviest tents around. This makes the tent longer lasting and provides better insulation overnight (warmer), making it a better choice for out of season camping.
Pukka Tents are easy to erect and come with everything you need including heavy duty guy pegs for better anchorage, ready-attached guy ropes and a rubber mallet.

Pukka tents are manufactured in compliance with ISO 9001.Pukka canvas is treated during manufacture for optimum resistance to water penetration,UV, mould/mildew.
Pukka canvas is manufactured for optimum breaking strength, tear resistance and dimensional stability.
External storm flaps ensure extra protection for window zips, door zips and wall-to-groundsheet zips.
All poles are strong galvanised steel.
All poles use 'push-click' fixing – we have found that springs in spring-loaded poles often come apart.
French seams are used throughout with reinforced stitching on all stress points.
10mm x 300mm heavy duty ribbed galvanised steel guy pegs for extra anchorage are supplied as standard. Strong, durable UV-treated nylon guy ropes are fitted with chunky, 'easy-onthe-fingers' sliders.
Window/air vents are made of fine 1mm (max) mesh – to really keep those bugs out!
Windows have double-ended zips.
Door zips have double sliders – for easy use inside and out – and the three door zips are lockable when pulled together.
YKK zips are used throughout – these are the best quality zips you can get, and zips are an important part of any tent.
Pukka Classic tent with separate groundsheet has one of the most efficient canvas-to-groundsheet joining systems, with a full 20cm (8 inches) of mudguard running under the groundsheet – properly engineered to keep all but the worst flood out.
All Pukka tents all have a vertical mudguard of a full 10cm (4inches).All 4m & 5m bell tents come with fixings for inner tents.
All 3m, 4m and 5m tents have a metal fixing point attached to the centre pole – providing a fixing that can be used for lighting etc.
Pukka Stitched and Zipped tents have 'open down' door threshholds to avoid tripping.
Both the Pukka Stitched and Pukka Zipped bell tents have fully zippable secondary fine-mesh doors.
Pukka Classic tent, has reinforced Aframe footings – meaning that the Aframe feet do not have to sit 'outside' the tent on the open ground to avoid slipping – meaning that even with a separate groundsheet, your A-frame footings are 'inside' your tent, not outside.
Pukka 3m bell tents have a generous centre height of 250cm and a full 60cm height on the side walls (same as the 4m) – giving our smallest bell tent the same head room and airy feel as a larger tent.
Pukka 3m & 4m tents are built with 12 panels for maximum stability/strength.Pukka 5m tents are built with 14 panels for maximum stability/strength.
The Pukka Tipi is a generous 5.5m diameter, and uniquely to Pukka Tents has two entrances – providing fantastic air flow-through in hot weather, and allowing the main entrance to be changed according to wind direction.
